Our client is large Media Organisation based in London who requires an Information Architect to join their dynamic online Web team on 3-9 months rolling contract, Paying good negotiable market rates.

The main synopsis of the role is to develop the Information Architecture for the organisation and ensure that the information architecture meets the needs of the online Business.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the Information Architecture and policy across all functions.
• Project manage Information Architecture projects and internal/external audits.
• Consult with the different parts of the business to ensure that projects are delivered with the appropriate Information Architecture.
• Work closely with the Technology Architecture and Business Analysis teams to ensure that Information standards and Technology processes are effective.
• Foster a culture of understanding of Information Architecture and the importance of meta-data, classification, Search within a media environment..
• Acts as the representative of the organisation among other properties when discussing information architecture standards.
• Participate in current & proposed projects to direct and ensure their adherence to a coherent information architecture policy.
• Ownership of the data model for content production and management
The role will include liaising with other aspects of the business to ensure that projects are completed on time and within the set budget.

The successful candidate will have good knowledge of current information architecture policies and a sound understanding of tools and processes that will aid them to project completion, you will be working on an Online web project and dealing with web and graphic designers.

An understanding of online web content search, data classification, taxonomies and meta-data standards would be required.

Along with these essential skills previous media exposure would be very desirable along with change management exposure.
