Our client is a Retail specialist they are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to develop solutions, improve the quality of their software and business products. The right candidate will provide information to the Business on the state of the software being designed and introduce quality assurance.

The right candidate will have a strong proven background of Quality Assurance within information systems. You will have solid working knowledge of designing, implementing and executing high value tests.

Key Skills:
You must have previous experience of managing a QA or testing team and should be able to lead the development from manual to automated testing.

Programming and development experience is essential. This should include scripting, SQL querying, object-orientated design and programming, databases, web and application servers, XML, IDEs, source control tools (subversion), automated build processes, issue management (Jira), continuous integration, unit testing, mock objects, coding guidelines and best practices.

You should have in-depth knowledge of various testing methods: Acceptance testing, regression testing, black-box, white-box and functional testing, system and integration testing, smoke and exploratory testing.

Excellent problem solving skills and root cause analysis. You will be a confident communicator as the role is customer, user and business facing.
