Job Description:  

Our client is looking for an AMI technical Solutions Sales Manager to be responsible for developing technical solutions, sales and project implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure projects within the GCC, including:

Developing system architecture for AMI solutions on the Grid, Commercial and Residential applications

Bid management for AMI solutions

Preparation of “Smart” demo units and presentations to key customers

Testing meter hardware and multi-utility interfaces

Preparation of project scope of Matrix for Consortium partners, identification of the right project alliances, customized to each offering

Teaming with partners ensuring high quality bid management – techno / commercial Managing pilot program implementation directly along with main contractor

Forecasting requirements of project personnel/manpower

Coordinating post sale customer project issues and schedules including system installation, meter installations and training

Ensuring all facets of customer projects are appropriately addressed by allocating project resources across multiple projects

Qualifications and Technical Aptitude:

Extensive experience in the TECHNICAL SALES FUNCTION addressing the Electricity utility industry with metering systems implementation experience on Electricity Generation, transmission and distribution networks and/or Monitoring systems Smart Grid, smart metering, SCADA, AMR/AMM/AMI, Meter data collection and Management systems

and/or

Electronics Real time embedded systems, digital and analog electronics, system on chip

and/or

Telecommunications Network design, TCP/IP, PLC/BPL, mobility & security

Skill Set: Knowledge of Electricity/Multi-utility metering and AMI systems. Good oral and written communication skills; experience developing and presenting project status reports (internally and externally).

Experience managing multi-tasking with the ability to prioritize based on business objectives.

Willing to travel 50 to 75 percent - mostly within the GCC but some international travel will be required.

Experience with large scale meter deployment projects including managing or coordinating meter installation contractors.

MS Project and Technology savvy.

Self starter Excellent customer relationship skills are essential
