The Systems Administrator will be involved with supporting websites and applications, development and testing and QA environments as well as internal infrastructure and cross-site networking.

The Systems Administrator will need commercial experience of Unix systems administration and exposure to multiple flavours of Unix/Linux e.g. Sun Solaris, Red Hat also requires experience of Oracle DBA, Internet protocols and scripting in Perl/shell and working to an agreed SLA.

You will also be supporting Apache Webserver as well as Java applications e.g. tomcat, Jboss. Excellent communication skills are essential, Windows Server 2003 and PL/SQL is desirable.

Key Skills as Systems Administrator:

Unix and/or Linux (Sun Solaris and Red Hat)
Oracle DBA experience
Scripting in Perl and/or shell
Experience of supporting Apache Webserver
Experience of supporting Java applications servers e.g. tomcat, Jboss
