Our client is a leading provider of motor claims handling services in the UK, who managed over 250,000 claims in 2008/2009, making my client the largest and most trusted Accident Management provider in the business.

The candidate wil be working as a Database Administrator and will be working on Business Intelligence (MI reporting) across a complete product portfolio for internal and external clients.

I am currently seeking a Database Administrator with indepth knowledge of;

• SQL DBA Experience with SQL 2000 and 2005 in a commercial environment.

• In depth knowledge of T-SQL, Implementing Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views and Functions.

• SSRS 2005.

• Ability to communicate both directly with third parties and technically within the team.

• Ability to liaise with staff to understand and document procedures

• Experience with database failover and database disaster recovery solutions

• Microsoft Certification (MCTS, MCTIP) SQL Server 2005, 2008 Business Intelligence (or equivalent) an advantage

• Familiarity with merge replication, partitioning, mirroring, multi-site networking also useful
