The successful candidate, who must have proven commercial Java Development experience, will form part of the ever-growing development team, being involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle.

As Java Developer you will be responsible for the technical specification, design and development of new software components. The key technologies required for the position are Spring, Hibernate and Oracle (ideally 10g). Experience or a strong understanding of Agile is highly desirable but not essential as Java Developer, as is experience of Tomcat, Weblogic or IBM Websphere. Other relevant technical experience includes Unix (various flavours, daemons, protocols and tools- Linux, Solaris, Apache, etc.) As Java Developer excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability and desire to stay up to date with relevant emerging technologies.
