This E-commerce company is looking for a strong Selenium Automation Tester with C# experience who would be responsible for designing automated test framework and regression suites to test complex, highly transactional, scalable web application in an Agile XP environment.

Having excellent attention to detail, the right candidate must be able to demonstrate proven initiative in a fast-paced environment and be able to sensibly evaluate and communicate testing progress and risk. Demonstrated ability to challenge senior staff members and construct arguments will also be a significant advantage.

You will also be expected to execute test cases manually and develop automated test suites over time. You will also be required to communicate test progress so excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

About the Candidate

Essential

•Strong background in automated functional testing with the ability to plan, designs, and execute automated test cases.

•Proven experience in automating web based projects using Selenium RC with C#. Maintenance of automated regression suites packs to be compliant with changing requirements and features.

•Setting up Selenium RC in the Test Environment. Deploy and run the scripts in Continuous Integration environment as part of the build and generate automated test reports for the test runs.

•Generate Test Reports of Automated Test Runs for each build.

•Experience in Visual Studio for defect management and able to write concatenated queries in SQL Server 2005/2008

•Liaising with technology team to maintain and build a dedicated automation platform

•Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines.

•Have excellent time management skills, including demonstrable ability to deliver to deadlines and to achieve results

•Be proactive and be able to work independently and within a team.

•Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, towards successful conclusions.

Desirable

•Experience of Agile Scrum or Agile XP methodologies

•Experience within high volume transaction and/or financial services industries (eg banks, stock exchanges)

•ISEB Foundation certified
